Rebecca Balcárcel
A recent graduate of Bennington's MFA program and recipient of their Jane Kenyon Poetry Prize, Rebecca Balcárcel lives in Texas where she teaches at Tarrant County College. Her work appears in such journals as 5AM, South Dakota Review, New Texas, Concho River Review, Clockwatch Review, and others. Rebecca writes out of the cultural nexus of her Guatemalan father and Anglo mother. She mothers three young boys, including identical twins, and writes in the middle of the night!
