Laurie Champion
Laurie Champion is Assistant Professor of English and Co-Coordinator of Women's Studies at Sul Ross State University. Her essays, reviews, and short stories have appeared in American Literature, Southern Literary Journal, Diversity, Southern Quarterly, Mississippi Quarterly, New Texas, Texas College English, Texas Short Stories, Explicator, Studies in Short Fiction, Journal of the Short Story in English, Studies in the Novel, and other journals. She is currently co-editor of the forthcoming anthology Texas Short Stories II; and co-editor of African Americans in the West As Portrayed in Short Stories, forthcoming from University Press of Colorado.
