Laura DenhamLaura Denham is originally from London and holds dual British/American citizenship. She lived in Kingston, Jamaica from the early-to-mid 70s, Jordan in the early 80s, and attended convent school on the Isle of Wight in between. After taking a B.A. in Performing Arts in London and working at the British Film Institute's Museum of the Moving Image, she moved to San Francisco, completed a Masters Degree in Film Studies, worked in film post-production for several years, and now works for a radio broadcast company in San Francisco. She pursues music, ballet and occasionally 16mm filmmaking when she is not writing.Her non-fiction writing on film and television has been published in the U.K. and in the media journal Jump Cut in the U.S. She has published stories in the web magazine Savoy and in Phoebe (an interdisciplinary journal of feminist literature).
