Irving A. Greenfield

Irving Greenfield has been writing most of his 70 years. He spent two years in the Merchant Marine, graduated from Brooklyn College and did a stint in the combat infantry in Korea. For the last fourteen years, he has been teaching at Wagner College, where he is an Assistant Professor of English and a fellow of the college.

He has published several novels, including Tagget (filmed by Universal International) and The Ancient of Days. He has also written a play for PBS, Camp #2, Bucharest, which won a NOVA for the best drama of 1998 on Community Access TV. He is one of the five nominated winners of the Yukon Pacific Play Award for his one act play, Billy. His short stories have been published in various magazines and e-zines.
