Jerry Hamby
Jerry Hamby, a native of Amarillo, teaches English and humanities at Lee College in Baytown. He has twice won creative writing awards from the Conference of College Teachers of English. His poetry has been published in Concho River Review, Windhover, Descant, New Texas, and CCTE Studies. His fiction has appeared in the Houston Chronicle and Buffalo Press. This summer he participated in the West Texas A&M University summer writing program, competing in the Battle of the Bards.
