My Beautiful Frankenstein
by Mark Shirley

Sewn lines of souls
In a stitched possessive style
A Theatre of dreams
Unique
With reflective guile
Deconstruction of a Fable
Bolt-tighten the tale
Loosen pages and letters
In an organ - ic scale
I write a formal Frankenstein
Pronouncing Informally dead
The charging of plagiarised limbs
That brings life to past proverbs said
These bits and s-pieces
The absurd in words
Complete then sentenced
To form abstract verbs
Dissect the dictionary
Carve out the fat
Chew on earmarked pages
Elocutional-rat
Experimentally reconstruct
Operate an emergency try
Rip and then write
Merge EN, C, Y.
Reanimate the body
Snatch at the vowels/bowel's
Reassemble with chance
Inter- p'r'ose with a text- trowels
Aside every monster
Sits something beautiful to choose
Recreate with your Muse
In addition,
Reassemble doctored clues
